Data from local metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs) and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) travel demand models were used to generate statewide files for 5 year increments from 2020 through 2050 with socio-economic data like housing and emploument calculated by traffic analysis zone (TAZ). The values of housing and service and commercial empolyment were totaled over each TAZ. The total was used as the weighting field for generating the surrogate.</DIV> |
