Data is based on CalEnviroScreen 4.0, CalEPA Disadvantaged Communities Designation with U.S. Census Tribal Lands, and 2021 Revised Housing and Community Development Low-income thresholds. <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P>

Priority population designations represented at the 2016 census tract level and include the following categories:<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P>

  • Disadvantaged communities<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI>

  • Disadvantaged and low-income communities<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI>

  • Low-income communities<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI>

  • Low-income communities within a half-mile of disadvantaged communities. <\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI>

  • low-income household areas within a half-mile of a disadvantaged communities but not part of a low-income community.*<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><\/UL>

    * Low-income households statewide are also considered a priority population for the purposes of California Climate Investments.<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P>
